DFRC now offers a 'PRACTICAL SUPPORT SERVICE' for older people & people who are in physical need of assistance.
The service will provide volunteers to carry out small repairs & complete minor home tasks.  There will be no charge for the service (a charge for the cost of materials only)

This is a free FÁS funded Supported Employment Organisation which helps people who may be recovering from illness, injury or who may have a disability find work in the open labour market

Volunteer Drivers 
Can you help? Do you have a D1 Licence?
We need experienced drivers to drive a minibus (provided by Bantry Rural Transport) on a voluntary basis.

LUNCHTIME WALK: Come along to DFRC any Tuesday or Friday at 1:10pm and join a group for a brisk 30 minute walk.  Keep fit, enjoy a chat, be fresh & alert for the evening! Everybody welcome.

BOXING CLUB
Dunmanway Boxing club has only been running for a relatively short time, but thanks to the support of a dedicated coach and volunteers it has been very successful.  Sean_O%27Brien_Champ_1

Mosaic Bench Project 
The construction of the bench structure is well underway with both Adrian and Katrin working hard. The timber seat is now in place, & Katrin is working on the mosaic (under the watchful eye of Sean as seen below).  Also, we can't forget the wonderful new Bird Table made & erected by the very talented Adrian!P1000008P1000013P1000016
